How to Install dex software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dex software package provides generate and execute Application type .desktop files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dex

dex is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dex package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dex *

You will get with dex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
